These definitions give a general description of the service, non-traditional services are individualized to the specific
consumer’s needs through the service plan and the referral & authorization
process.
GUARDIANSHIP
Guardianship provides
comprehensive personal financial management for consumers who have been deemed
incompetent by the court. The guardian
works closely with person, family members, creditors and others to implement
the guardianship service. The guardian
submits reports required by the court monitoring the guardianship.
