These definitions give a general description of the service, non-traditional services are individualized to the
specific consumer’s needs through the service plan and the referral &
authorization process.
Community Counseling
Community Counseling is provided to consumers for whom, center based
psychotherapy is not an option or has not been effective. These individuals may have special treatment
issues that may include social or community reintegration needs.
